Scivee Pricing and Service Offering
SciVee offers some services that are free and others for charge. Casual users can view all open content for free. Registered members can upload videos/podcasts, join communities and collaborate for free. What’s for charge are all products created through SciVee’s synchronized video technology and services relating to them. Such products include PubCast, PaperCast, PosterCast, SlideCast and BookCast, collectively known as SciveeCasts.
SciVee offers two pricing and service plans:
Unit Pricing: designed for individual researchers, scientists and instructors, and institutions which are using SciVee occasionally or on a limited basis.
Subscription Pricing: designed for institutional customers such as journals/publishers, societies, universities and research institutions which want to incorporate SciVee products into their rich media offerings and services.

Subscription Pricing
Subscription pricing for institutions is customized for each customer. Pricing factors include: number of publications or departments covered, publication subscriber base, society membership base, traffic and usage, profit vs. non-profit status etc. The typical subscription consists of the following components:
- Initial set-up fee(one time, non-refundable)
- Annual or multi-year subscription to an unlimited number of SciveeCasts
- Standard Services(included)
- Custom Services(for charge)
